The latter is planning a CD recording for Naxos this year with a newly written trio for E-violin, E-cello and keyboard.<\/p>\n Fiona Milla J\u00e4ntti made radio recordings for the Saarland Radio, SWR and MDR.<\/p>\n Born in Berlin to German-Finnish parents, she began playing the violin at the age of five; inspired by her Finnish grandfather who played folk music on the violin. She studied with Tanja Becker-Bender, Carolin Widmann and Sebastian Hamann. She received further impulses from Petra M\u00fcllejans and Giuliano Carmignola. She completed her concert exam with distinction in the class of Sebastian Hamann at the Musikhochschule Freiburg. Her chamber music teachers include Eduard Brunner, Peter Brunt, Florian Hoelscher, Roglit Ishay, Juhani Lagerspetz, Christian Polt\u00e9ra, Tatevik Mokatsian and Isabelle van Keulen. She also attended master classes with renowned teachers such as David Alberman, Thomas Brandis, Zakhar Bron, Eberhardt Feltz, Ton Koopman, Yair Kless, Hagai Shaham, Michaela Martin, Igor Ozim, Heinrich Schiff and Maxim Vengerov. <\/p>\n Since the winter semester 2019, Fiona Milla J\u00e4ntti has held a teaching position at the University of Music in Freiburg.
